Monitor what is not on the internet
Run a small StatusTick agent inside your network. It checks internal APIs, databases, intranets and VPN-only services, and reports back over one outbound HTTPS connection. No inbound ports, no VPN, no firewall changes.
How it works
One command to install
Create a private location in StatusTick and run the agent with Docker, Docker Compose or Kubernetes.
Outbound only
The agent connects out to StatusTick over HTTPS on port 443. Nothing connects in.
Only results leave your network
Status, timings, status codes and short errors. Never response bodies.
Same monitors, same alerts
Private locations appear next to public regions. Incidents, alerts and status pages work the same way.
What it checks inside
Internal HTTP(S), TCP, ping and DNS
Admin tools, internal APIs, intranets and internal DNS names.
Databases and caches
PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis and MongoDB, with a real login and a read-only health query.
Internal certificates
Certificates from your own CA, with the same expiry alerts as public ones.
Jobs with no internet access
Heartbeats from internal servers go to the agent, and the agent forwards them.
Built for security reviews
Agent down is not service down
If an agent stops, its location shows Offline and admins get one notice. No false outage alerts.
Run two for redundancy
Several agents in one location share the work and take over from each other.
You set the limits
An allowlist on the agent decides which internal targets it may check. It lives on your side.
Tokens you control
Tokens are stored hashed and can be rotated or revoked from the dashboard.
Works with your proxy
HTTP(S) proxy and custom CA support for networks that inspect outbound traffic.

What does the agent need from my network?

Where can the agent run?
Anywhere Docker runs: a VM, a Kubernetes cluster, a server in your office or a Raspberry Pi (amd64 and arm64).
