An expired certificate or domain takes a site down as surely as a crash. StatusTick checks both on the monitors you already have, with no extra setup.
Set it up
Add an HTTPS monitor; the certificate and domain checks come with it:

- The TLS certificate is read once a day on HTTPS monitors, and on TLS ports of TCP monitors such as 465 or 993.
- Warnings scale with the certificate lifetime, so short-lived certificates do not alert too early or too late.
- An invalid, expired or mismatched certificate alerts at once; a certificate not renewed at its usual time gets a warning.
- For HTTP, TCP, ping and DNS monitors, the registered domain’s expiry date is read from the registry (RDAP).
When it fails
You get an alert in your channels before the certificate or the domain expires.
Checks run from several regions and a failure is confirmed before anyone is alerted. Alerts go to email, Slack, Teams, Discord, Telegram, PagerDuty or a webhook.
